Individual counselling for adults
Hello and welcome,
I am Mary-Margaret Caldwell, founder of Anam Turas Counselling. I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC-CCPA) with more than 35 years of professional experience. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of community,
educational, and private practice settings, supporting individuals
during periods of change, uncertainty, and loss.
Life transitions and experiences of loss can be deeply unsettling. Whether you are grieving the death of a family member, friend, or beloved pet, adjusting to retirement, navigating changes in health, or facing another significant shift, you may find yourself seeking steadier ground. Counselling offers a confidential and supportive space to reflect, to process, and to move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
Meaningful change often begins with being heard and understood. My work is centred on careful listening, practical reflection, and supporting you as you navigate life’s transitions with greater clarity and resilience. My counselling approach is thoughtful, grounded, and collaborative. I offer a confidential and respectful space where you are invited to reflect openly, explore your experiences with care, and move forward at a pace that feels steady and manageable.
I provide in-person counselling in Parksville and Nanaimo, British Columbia and secure virtual sessions throughout the Province.
I am grateful to live and work on the unceded traditional territories of the Snuneymuxw and Snaw-naw-as First Nations.
